Your OISIZ Eagle Bottle is a reliable companion for your daily hydration. To maintain its optimal condition and lasting cleanliness, regular and proper cleaning is essential. Designed for convenience, please follow these simple steps for easy daily or deep cleaning.
Option 1: Dishwasher Cleaning (For Convenience)
For your everyday convenience, several components of the OISIZ Eagle Bottle are dishwasher safe.
- Dishwasher-Safe Parts: The stainless steel body, main lid body, and straw lid components can be safely placed on the top rack of your dishwasher.
- Helpful Tip: For optimal cleaning and to protect the components, it is recommended to place them upside down or on their side to ensure proper water flow. Please select a gentle wash cycle and avoid high-temperature/heated drying settings to prolong the product's lifespan.
Option 2: Hand Washing (For Detailed Care)
We recommend hand washing for smaller parts like the silicone straw to ensure a thorough clean with no missed spots.
Step 1: Disassemble the Components
The innovative design of the Eagle Bottle makes disassembly for cleaning very easy.
- Open the lid and pull the entire silicone straw assembly straight up and out.
- Gently pull the silicone straw out of the assembly.
- You now have three main parts to clean: the bottle body, the silicone straw, and the straw lid assembly.
Step 2: Clean the Straw and Lid
- Silicone Straw: Use the included small cleaning brush. Apply a small amount of mild dish soap to the brush and scrub the inside of the straw thoroughly. The smooth silicone material resists residue buildup.
- Straw Lid Assembly: Rinse with warm water and use a soft-bristled brush (like an old toothbrush) to clean the grooves and crevices, ensuring no liquid residue remains.
Step 3: Clean the Stainless Steel Body
- Daily Cleaning: Use a soft sponge or cloth with mild dish soap to clean the interior, then rinse thoroughly with water.
- Stubborn Stains (Tea/Coffee): For tough stains, we recommend a natural method: add 1-2 teaspoons of baking soda to the bottle, fill it with warm water (50-60°C / 120-140°F), and let it sit for 30 minutes or overnight. The stains will wipe away easily. Rinse thoroughly.
Important: Do not use abrasive scouring pads or steel wool, as they can scratch the interior surface.
General Care Tips
- Dry Thoroughly: After washing, ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling to prevent bacterial growth. Air-dry by inverting the parts on a rack or use a soft cloth.
- Odor Removal: To remove odors, soak parts in a mixture of warm water and a small amount of lemon juice or white vinegar for 30 minutes, then rinse well.
- Safety Note: Do not use bleach or harsh corrosive cleaners.
